The professional backing

"It is a well-known fraise that you are not stronger than the weakest link. Professional golf has become a team sport and in order to post a propper score you need a professional backing. For sure, I am the one to make the cuts and I am the one being responsible for making the often difficult and VERY important puts - but without the people around me I would be kind of lost.

MY TEAM

TECHINCAL COACH: Thomas Kiel Larsson Thomas has been my technical coach since year 2000 where he started working as PGA Pro in the club where I played. His technical knowledge is at the highest level, and his eager to learn and study this part of the game and being a great golf coach, has today moved him into a position as Head Coach for The Danish National Team as well.
MENTAL COACH: Martin Thomsen Langagergaard As of 2012 Martin has become my new mental coach. He runs his own company, Learn2improve, with his wife. It provides advisory in sports and business and is a well established company in his range of business.
PHYSICAL COACH: Jakob Nees Playing golf on this level, the balance between body & soul must be attuned. If any part is stronger than the other you start losing focus on the weaker. It is a delicate balance living in Hotels for many weeks of the year and to maintain the high level of fitness gained during hard training in the off season. Jakob does an excellent job planning and fine tuning this very important part for me as a professional golfer both on every day- and on long term basis.
FAMILY: Finn and Karen-Lise Jørgensen Brought up in a family of golfers, my older brother having been a professional golfer for several years, it seems that the game of golf is a family issue. My parents who are also golfers and very much involved in running the small business are taking care of all commercial and financial aspects, sponsoring etc.
CADDY: Lars Larsson My boyfriend Lars whom I meet at the Danish National Team claims to be a highly skilled golfer on his own, so whenever schedules fit together, him studying at The Southern University of Denmark, he plays the role as caddie. At events where I am on my own I sometimes hire a local caddy when specific knowledge about the course are required or recommended, and sometimes I choose to play carrying the golf bag myself.
